Job Description
Senior Helpers has an immediate part-time need for a veteran male client in Powhatan. Days are Tue Wed Fri. 9 AM - 2 PM. Caregiver must know how to use a Hoyer Lift Clients have Pets and its $20/hour. This can turn into full-time work eventually.
This client requires a very patient and empatheticcaregiver. There is the potential that VA benefits may open up caregiver opportunities during the week also.
Responsibilities
- Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned
- Provide companionship and emotional support by engaging in conversation and socialactivities
- Perform household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying up
Qualifications
- Patience Caring and Compassionateyou enjoy helping others
- Willingness to learn new skills to best assist your clients
- Experience in healthcare home care assisted living independent living home health medical assistance or nursing assistance a Plus!
