Position Description:
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our IT Team to improve infrastructure in our Detroit office. A bachelors degree is required. The candidate must have three to five years related experience and also be self-motivated proficient in Microsoft office technologically savvy experience with Wrike PowerApps and familiarity in IT Service Management (ITIL) is a plus. A flexible hybrid work schedule is available after 30 days of employment.
Typical Responsibilities include:
Analysis/Requirement:
- Analyze and document business processes and requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business and functional requirements.
- Translate requirements into user stories acceptance criteria and process flows.
Communication:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and objectives.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units.
- Work closely with developers and QA to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly
Project Planning/Delivery:
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines.
- Tracking project timelines and scope for on time delivery.
- Support the development and integration of business systems and applications.
- Support testing efforts by reviewing test cases and validating deliverables.
Agile:
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as backlog grooming sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for management.
Process Change and Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Assist in change management and user training as needed.
- Provide training and support for end-users on new business processes and systems
Self:
- Candidates must continually update job knowledge by participating in education opportunities and training.
- Candidates must maintain a safe working environment
Education
- Bachelors Degree in a related field
Skills Required:
- Three to five years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
- Familiarity -based applications and modern front-end frameworks (TypeScript React).
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps Jira or similar work tracking systems.

- Experience with Microsoft products suite
- Strong knowledge of current IT systems and business software.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools a plus.
