This role reports into our Ellsworth Dispensing Solutions (EDS) Division located in Sparks NV. The ideal candidate will be able to work on-site.

Ellsworth Corporation a global industry leading distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment and adhesive manufacturer currently has a Field Service Technician opportunity at Ellsworth Dispensing Solutions located in Sparks here to find out more about the markets we serve and here to learn about our consumer and manufacturing products!
Provides on-site preventive maintenance troubleshooting repair equipment modification and installation of equipment with varying degrees of complexity for national and international customers. Integrates equipment with customer and/or third-party vendors as needed. Maintains equipment documentation for internal assembly testing set-up and troubleshooting. Provides start-up service and customer training during installations.
Responsibilities
- Installs troubleshoot repair modify overhaul or refurbish standard and system components at Customer locations.
- Conducts after-sales technical support and machine maintenance training to customers
- Completes documentation related to the status of the machine issues repairs and/or installations to ensure timely billing
- Communicates with Customers to schedule installation repair and/or preventive maintenance work and estimated time of arrival for unscheduled work
- Responds to routine Customer and sales questions regarding equipment operation and performance

Qualifications
- 0 Years of direct work experience (Associate Level)
Bachelors degree from a four-year college in Engineering or related field other combinations of education and experience may be considered
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Ability to manages difficult or emotional customer situations
- Respond promptly to customer needs and solicit customer feedback to improve service
- Continuously pursues training and development opportunities.
- Observes safety and security procedures
Frequent travel 25-50% domestic and occasional international
The ability to lift 75 lbs. frequently bending and lifting safely
