About the role:
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative individual to lead on Resident Experience and Business Support Quality and Performance. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality data-led Business Support is provided across all service areas within our organisation.
The successful candidate will have a clear understanding of residents needs and the importance of delivering a seamless service in line with the objectives and values of Mission Waltham Forest.
This role will require a focus on creativity innovation and an ambition for all Business Support functions to continuously improve and deliver increasing value for the organisation and for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
A focus on creativity innovation and an ambition for all Business Support functions to continuously improve and deliver increasing value for the organisation and for residents.
Lead the development and implementation of service plans people strategies and performance and quality assurance measures.
Provide business planning support including forward planning performance overview assessment and strategic planning to senior leadership.
Collaborate with colleagues across the Business Support and Resident Experience service and individual service areas.
Lead and manage key priority projects aligned with the Leader and Chief Executives priorities and Mission Waltham Forest.
Ensure excellent service delivery within a diverse environment maintaining professional standards.
Lead motivate and develop staff to create a high-performing competent and participative workforce.
Drive continuous improvements in all aspects of the service identifying opportunities for transformation.
Collaborate with service areas and transformation teams to be feed into wider organisation transformation ensuring business support are engaged and part of the co-design of transformation work
Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the Council and partner organizations.
Manage resources effectively to meet and exceed objectives ensuring value for money.
Implement safeguarding best practices and health and safety legislation.
