Job Description

We are looking for an Automotive Sales Associate to join our sales team! The right candidate must love working with people enjoy learning about vehicles and new technology be comfortable using a computer have some social media savvy and be self motivated.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting customers who enter the dealership answering their questions and helping them select a vehicle that is right for their needs

  • Explaining product performance application and benefits to prospects and describing all optional equipment available for customer purchase. Determine each customers vehicle needs by asking questions and listening

  • Exhibits a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Utilizes dealership sales control and follow-up system
  • Writes complete sales orders and processes paperwork in accordance with established dealership policies.
  • Review and analyze actions at the end of each day week month and year to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively

  • Offering test drives to all prospects and following dealership procedure to obtain proper identification prior to test drive

  • Maintains an owner follow-up system the encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Automotive sales background preferred but not required

  • Excellent customer service organizational and negotiation skills

  • Self-motivated goal-oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environment

  • Strong written and communication skills

  • Valid drivers license required and clean driving record

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test
