I have a client located in Daleville VA who has an immediate need for a Field Surveyor. This is a great opportunity for either an entry-level candidate looking to break into the industry or a more experienced Survey Crew Chief ready to step into a leadership role. The Field Surveyor will work on a variety of survey projects including boundary topographic construction and ALTA/ACSM surveys. The role will be fully on-site and requires field work in outdoor environments including hiking and carrying survey equipment weighing up to 40 lbs. Candidates should be comfortable working in various weather conditions.
This is a temp-to-perm position with strong potential for long-term growth depending on performance.
Qualifications:
Open to entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Experienced Survey Party Chiefs are also encouraged to apply.
Must be physically capable of working outdoors hiking and lifting/carrying equipment (approx. 40 lbs).
Familiarity with GPS and total station equipment is a plus.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
