Salary: Up to 35.00 per hour (depending on level of experience training and qualification)
We have an opportunity for an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in thePhysiotherapydepartment.
This is a bank role working on an as and when required basis you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
Duties of this role include:
- Perform comprehensive assessments and diagnoses for patients with complex presentations including advanced clinical reasoning and differential diagnosis.
- Deliver evidence-based treatment plans incorporating advanced therapeutic techniques and where appropriate requesting and interpreting diagnostic imaging.
- Act as a clinical lead and role model within the physiotherapy team supporting best practice and professional standards.
- Contribute to the strategic development and delivery of advanced physiotherapy services including pathway redesign and integration.
- Work closely with consultants GPs advanced practitioners and other AHPs to deliver coordinated patient-centred care.
- Participate in case conferences MDT meetings and referral discussions as a senior clinical voice.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
- Significant post-registration experience including advanced musculoskeletal or specialist physiotherapy practice.
- Postgraduate training relevant to advanced practice (e.g. MSc PGCert or equivalent).
- Advanced clinical reasoning assessment and decision-making skills.
- Experience working autonomously and in multidisciplinary teams.
