Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to support our Regional Marketing Manager in delivering effective marketing communications across the UK and Ireland. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to a variety of marketing initiatives including supplier-led campaigns vertical -multichannel campaigns brand and product launches and brand-building activities.
The successful candidate will collaborate with the regional marketing and category team and wider business to implement both digital and offline marketing strategies across channels such as email web social media PR advertising and direct marketing.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to build a dynamic career in marketing within a global distribution business with exposure to the full marketing mix.
What You Will Do
- Support the creation and execution of marketing campaigns and content
- Work with suppliers to deliver marketing plans and product launches
- Idea contribution on customer marketing strategy including ABM growth demand-generation content marketing and brand building
- Collaborate with category and marketing team to bring marketing strategies to life
- Supporting new product and new supplier launches
- Assist with campaign reporting and performance analysis
- Liaison with the regional sales function to understand customer and market trends
- Planning support of company and industry events
- Build your marketing knowledge across tools channels and technologies
You Must Have
- 1 year work experience in similar role or equivalent marketing knowledge
- Enthusiasm ideas and a GSD attitude
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Teams)
- Knowledge of marketing tools such as Marketo ClickUp Workfront an advantage
- Understanding of design and creative processes
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English
- Ability to build relationships with colleagues and external partners
