Job Description

Were looking for a proactive Technical Application Engineer to partner with our sales team and provide expert guidance to customers on industrial automation and motion control solutions. This role focuses on helping clients incorporate advanced electro-mechanical products into their manufacturing and machinery projects ensuring seamless integration and ongoing support.

Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers during on-site customer visits throughout the assigned region
- Coordinate and lead hands-on product demonstrations tailored to customer needs
- Offer practical training sessions and technical assistance to facilitate customer adoption of new technologies
- Build strong knowledge of a broad range of automation components including servo and stepper motors drives and controls actuators gearboxes robotics variable frequency drives and HMIs
- Support system design efforts by assisting in component selection sizing preparing quotes and delivering presentations
- Provide technical support during system startups and troubleshooting phases
- Analyze customer challenges and develop effective application solutions
- Promote product expansion within existing accounts while introducing innovative technologies
- Work closely with Sales Engineers and product vendors to ensure optimal customer satisfaction and success
- Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for select product lines
- Manage travel plans customer meetings and project timelines efficiently
- Adapt to the dynamic needs of a small team environment fostering collaboration and flexibility


Required Skills and Experience:
- Degree or diploma in Automation Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical discipline
- Ideally 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience working with industrial automation systems machinery or robotic applications
- Familiarity with electric servo drives motion control systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Working knowledge of actuators gearboxes robotics and other precision mechanical components
- Strong enthusiasm for electro-mechanical technologies and a genuine interest in staying current with industry advancements
- Competent in using Microsoft Office applications especially Word and Excel for documentation and reporting
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities coupled with solid analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Willingness and ability to sign a proprietary technical confidentiality agreement
- Possession of a valid drivers license and readiness to travel frequently across the designated territory
