Job Summary
Total Access Urgent Care (TAUC) is seeking dedicated Physician Assistants to provide high-quality compassionate care to patients in an acute care setting. TAUC is the leading urgent care provider in the Greater St. Louis community delivering care since 2008. What Youll Do:
- Provide a level of care that goes beyond the traditional urgent care setting
- Ensure comprehensive care for patients of all ages
- Procedures to include EKG and X-ray interpretation abscess incision and drainage infection management reduction of dislocations splinting of fractures laceration repair IV hydration and medication administration
- Serve as a role model and leader for the clinical team
- Communicate test results follow-up care and treatment plans
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with Physicians
- Work with an energetic highly-trained support team including many shifts with a scribe
Minimum Qualifications:
- Board Certified (or Board Eligible) Physician Assistant
- Experience with procedures such as suturing and abscess I&D
- Experience with reading diagnostics studies including X-rays and EKGs
- 2 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine urgent care or ambulatory care highly preferred
- ACLS and PALS Certification preferred
