Job Description
The Operations Lead Analyst works within the Strategic Finance & Business Initiatives Department and plays a key role in supporting strategic planning and operational performance across the Ambulatory Patient Care Setting. The primary focus of the Operations Lead Analyst is to assist with business planning for new clinical sites and services including conducting operational assessments forecasting volumes modeling staffing and resource needs and supporting implementation efforts. This role works closely with clinical operational and financial stakeholders to ensure new initiatives are data-informed and aligned with broader system goals. This role will also assist with operational digital platforms that track space utilization and schedule efficiency.
In addition to business planning the Operations Lead Analyst supports the Clinical Strike Team through reporting and analytics that guide clinical and operational process improvement efforts. The role also partners with Population Health and Value-Based Savings teams to advance value-based care strategies and monitor performance across key metrics. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills a deep understanding of healthcare operations and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support business planning efforts for new ambulatory sites and services including volume projections resource modeling and operational scenario modeling
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and track implementation plans for new service lines or expansions post go-live
Provide data-driven support to the Clinical Strike Team to identify and implement clinical workflow improvements
Analyze trends in operational and clinical data to support performance monitoring and continuous improvement
Assist Population Health teams with value-based care initiatives including financial impact tracking and performance analysis
Maintain proficiency in digital tools and data platforms including EPIC dashboards and operational databases such as QGenda
Contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance care delivery patient outcomes and system efficiency
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare operations clinical planning or business development
Strong background in data analysis operational modeling or service line forecasting
Familiarity with EPIC reporting tools (e.g. QGenda SlicerDicer Reporting Workbench Clarity)
Experience supporting value-based care or population health initiatives
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across clinical and administrative teams
Additional Job Description
Education: Bachelors Degree in IT & Analytics Healthcare Administration Business or Related Field Required Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business or technical analysis. Experience as a Business Analyst in the Healthcare setting preferred.
