Independence Mission Schools (IMS) is seeking an energetic detail-oriented advancement professional to serve as the Annual Fund Manager. Reporting to the Senior Director of Leadership & Annual Giving the Annual Fund Manager will be responsible for coordinating and executing annual fundraising and stewardship communications across the IMS network including all 14 schools. This role is essential to sustaining and growing IMSs base of support and ensuring that all donors feel appreciated and engaged. The Annual Fund Manager will lead the production of all direct mail appeals manage the network-wide Day of Giving coordinate holiday and stewardship mailings and support the annual fund strategy to grow repeatable sustainable revenue for IMS and its schools.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute all direct mail appeals throughout the year including writing editing segmenting and managing production and mailing timelines.
Coordinate and lead the IMS Day of Giving collaborating with internal teams and schools to meet participation and revenue goals.
Solicit and steward donors up to $2499.
Manage the design production and mailing of annual stewardship communications including Christmas cards donor thank-you letters and impact updates.
Maintain a calendar of annual fund communications and mailings ensuring timely execution and alignment with other advancement activities.
Collaborate with communications staff development colleagues and school leaders to develop compelling content that inspires giving and deepens donor connection.
Monitor annual fund performance including donor counts retention and revenue and provide regular reports to advancement leadership.
Assist with donor segmentation list management and data integrity in Donor Perfect.
Provide fundraising and donor communication support to all 14 IMS schools.
Participate in occasional evening or weekend events as needed.
Qualifications:
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working with donor databases preferred (Raisers Edge or similar CRM).
Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
Passion for education and the mission of Catholic schools in underserved communities.
