The opportunity
Are you a creative powerhouse with a passion for digital storytelling and social media Join Hitachi Energys North America External Communications team and help shape the voice of a global technology leader. As we expand to meet the surging demand for electricity across the U.S. Canada and Mexico were looking for a digital communications and social media specialist who thrives on innovation collaboration and making an impact.
Based in our vibrant Raleigh NC headquarters youll be at the heart of our regional growth storycrafting compelling content building brand awareness and driving engagement across digital platforms. If you love turning ideas into eye-catching visuals and strategies into results this is your moment to shine.
The selected individual will need to be in the office 2-3 days a week to support various local activities that will require social media promotion for our Raleigh HQ.
How youll make an impact
- Design and execute creative digital and social media strategies that elevate our brand
- Develop engaging contentgraphics GIFs videosfor LinkedIn Instagram YouTube and more
- Collaborate with global and regional teams to launch high-impact campaigns
- Lead social media efforts for events tradeshows and conferences
- Champion global campaigns locally and share best practices across teams
- Train and empower employees to be social media ambassadors
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines
Your background
- Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience in digital communications social media or marketing
- Proven success in B2B communicationsenergy or industrial sector experience is a plus
- Strong grasp of social platforms and tools like Sprout Social
- Excellent writing editing and visual storytelling skills
- Project management skills with a sharp eye for detail
- (Required) Adobe Creative Cloud and video editing experience
- Proficiency in social media analytics
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
