Job Description/ Responsibilitie
- Lead and mentor a team of support engineers focused on Connex applications running on HPE NonStop/Tandem systems.
- Responsible for ensuring high-quality customer service operational efficiency and continuous process improvement.
- Act as the first point of escalation for complex or high-priority customer issues.
- Coordinate with infrastructure application and network teams to resolve cross-functional issues.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring incidents.
- Maintain and update operational documentation runbooks and support procedures.
- Strong analytical problem-solving team collaboration and decision-making skills.
What are the top 3 skills required for this role:
- Extensive hands-on experience with Connex switch transaction processing & their associated component
- Expertise in TAL COBOL S-COBOL and TACL programming languages.
- Experience in using the Tandem utilities like FUP Enscribe Enform Bind/XLD SQL DDL INSPECT Netbatch Spooler Peruse Pathway concepts
- Experience with Connex knowledge on PI TH CH PMC CED SMONINQY CMSUTIL NMI EMS Prognosis
