As we evolve our digital platforms to better connect New Zealanders with each other and the world were looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join high-impact transformation programmes focused on elevating the airlines customer experience.
This is more than just a BA role; its an opportunity to shape strategic change across customer-facing channels streamline legacy systems and influence how our customers discover book and manage their travel. About the role
Youll play a pivotal role in transformational initiatives. Modernising and integrating the platforms that power our digital and operational customer experiences. This involves delivering across complex interdependent systems and working across multiple business and technical domains.
Youll bring clarity to ambiguity develop actionable insight from discovery and ensure every decision keeps the customer at the centre. Youll partner with product technology digital and operational teams to shape and drive change across our digital channels APIs and backend systems.
This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who can navigate both macro-level design and micro-level delivery detail. Someone whos confident engaging diverse stakeholders and who thrives in environments where systems processes and customer outcomes intersect.
Youll be part of a collaborative cross-functional environment. Youll help teams navigate change manage complexity and deliver impactful outcomes. Youll clarify business needs shape solutions iteratively and ensure projects align with strategic goals and operational excellence.
This role suits a Senior Business Analyst with excellent core BA capabilities comfortable guiding teams from ambiguity to clear structured delivery through iterative discovery and collaboration.
About you
Youll bring experience as a Senior Business Analyst ideally within complex large-scale projects.
Key experience were interested in includes:
At least five years as a Senior Business Analyst
Strong strategic thinking capable of connecting business objectives with customer value and technical feasibility.
Comfortable making decisions in ambiguity influencing without authority and aligning cross-functional teams behind a shared direction.
Proven capability in workshops discovery stakeholder management and clear documentation
Strong experience with user stories process mapping and options analysis
Comfortable with agile environments and practices comfortable with iterative delivery approaches
Experience working on digital transformation AI APIs vendor integration or software development projects
Previous experience in eCommerce initiatives would be advantageous
Excellent communication skills able to build productive relationships across business and technical teams
