As an Environmental Professional at FLINT you will support a variety of environmental projects providing technical expertise in environmental assessments regulatory compliance and remediation this dynamic position youll lead various environmental field programs focused on-site investigations remediation and reclamation all while championing a client-centered approach that drives success and fosters growth.
What would you be doing
- Perform site investigations remediation and reclamation activities including borehole logging soil sampling and supervising third-party contractors in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct technical analyses including hydraulic conductivity testing and groundwater flow calculations while preparing reports and managing groundwater monitoring programs.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers landowners stakeholders and regulators to enhance project outcomes and facilitate effective collaboration.
- Crosstrain to adapt to seasonal demands and support other environmental projects as needed.
- Spend up to 80% of time in the field actively involved in hands-on environmental work across various practice areas.

Qualifications :
- Technical diploma or university degree in environmental science engineering or a related field; eligible for or holds a professional designation (e.g. Agrologist Biologist Engineer Geoscientist).
- 1-3 years of experience in environmental consulting with hands-on expertise in fieldwork.
- Proficient in safely operating light-duty trucks and holding a valid Class 5 drivers license.
- Deep understanding and application of provincial environmental regulations policies and guidelines pertinent to site investigations.
- Skilled in planning and managing multiple projects under tight deadlines ensuring continued stakeholder collaboration with a proactive approach to challenges and a commitment to health and safety standards.
- Proficient in English both written and verbal communication required.
