Job Description

The Buttery is growing! Join us as we bring deliciousness to Ardmore and be part of building something special in the community. Were assembling a new team to help shape a warm welcoming space rooted in great food hospitality and connection.

Overview

Were looking for friendly upbeat people to join our Counter Service team at our upcoming location in Ardmore! This role is all about creating a warm welcoming experience for every guest from greeting them with a smile to helping them choose the perfect pastry or coffee.

Youll become a pro on all things Buttery so you can confidently guide guests through their visit. Youll handle orders and transactions keep our pastry displays looking beautiful and help maintain a clean and inviting space.

Strong communication multitasking and teamwork are key. Youll be a big part of the guest experience and help bring our hospitality standards to life alongside the rest of our amazing team.

We have part-time and full time positions available. The starting
wage is $10-14/hour tips and is based on experience with opportunities to grow based on performance.

There are multiple shifts available including mornings evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Provide warm attentive service to all guests by greeting guiding and assisting them throughout their visit.
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders operate the POS system and handle transactions with care and efficiency.
  • Help prepare and serve our menu items with care and consistency ensuring everything meets The Butterys high standards for quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean organized and welcoming environment in all front-of-house areas including the counter seating and outdoor spaces.
  • Restock pastry displays and retail shelves assist with deliveries and ensure the space looks its best.
  • Support and uphold health food safety and sanitation standards alongside the rest of the team.
  • Collaborate with the team to resolve guest concerns share feedback and foster a respectful team-oriented environment.
  • Assist in onboarding new team members and continue learning about our menu coffee and tea offerings.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in high-volume coffee or a fast-paced food and beverage/retail setting preferred.
  • Strong time management organizational and communication skills.
  • Passion for hospitality with a love for food beverage and creating excellent guest experiences.
  • Comfortable working with seasonally changing menus and eager to learn and share product knowledge.
  • People-oriented self-motivated and committed to a supportive growth-minded workplace.
