Job Title: Senior Project Manager Healthcare Division
Project Focus Locations: Boston - South Shore - Rhode Island - MA Southwest

Office Location: Downtown Boston or North Reading MA (this is an in-office role)

Position Summary

As a Senior Project Manager in our growing Healthcare Division youll lead complex healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through closeoutensuring every milestone is delivered with precision safety and purpose. Youll drive high-performing teams act as a trusted advisor to our clients and be a champion of Columbias values across every phase of the project lifecycle.

This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and strong communicator with extensive healthcare experience and a desire to work on high-impact technically complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution

  • Lead all phases of construction for healthcare projects of all sizes (up to and over $30M) includingplanning execution and turnover.
  • Direct weekly ownersubcontractor and internal coordination meetings.
  • Prepare maintain and managedetailed project schedules and ensure critical milestones are met.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strongtrusted relationships with clients owners architects and consultants.
  • Ensure a consistent high level of client satisfaction throughout the life of the project.
  • Represent Columbia as a client advocate and problem solver at every step.

Financial Oversight & Risk Management

  • Manage all financial aspects of the project including budgets billing forecasting and cost-to-complete analysis.
  • Monitor contractual risk transfer(CRT) to verify scopes contracts and insurance compliance.
  • Own and lead the procurementprocess across the project team.

Team Development & Mentorship

  • Mentor and coach project team members including Assistant PMs Project Engineers and Superintendents.
  • Create an environment ofaccountability support and continuous improvement.
  • Lead by example and actively drive The Columbia Way within your team and across the company.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience as a Project Manager or Senior PM in the construction industry.
  • Significant experience with healthcare construction especially in active hospital environments.
  • Proven success managing large-scale ($30M) healthcare projects preferably in the Longwood MedicalArea or similar environments.
  • Deep knowledge of project financials scheduling contracts risk management and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skillswritten verbal and visual.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office scheduling tools (e.g. MS Project or P6) and project management software.
  • A collaborative proactiveleadership style that embodies Columbias core values.
  • Ability to travel to project sites including but not limited to Boston South Shore Rhode Island Southwestern MA etc.
  • Ability to work primarily from one of our offices in either downtown Boston or HQ in North Reading MA.

Work Environment & Culture

  • Split between office and fieldwork including walking active jobsites climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces.
  • Use of PPE (hard hats safety glasses protective clothing) is required on site.
  • Flexibility to work extendedhours nights or weekends when needed during key project phases.
