Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Educator to join our hospital healthcare team. This role is ideal for a registered nurse with a passion for teaching and mentoring committed to enhancing the knowledge skills and confidence of nursing staff. As a Clinical Educator you will serve as a leader facilitator and mentor working closely with clinical teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality evidence-based patient care.
Responsibilities
Develop implement and evaluate educational programs for nursing staff.
Serve as a resource and mentor to nurses fostering professional growth and clinical excellence.
Collaborate with leadership to identify learning needs and create targeted education plans.
Lead training sessions simulations and skill-building workshops using high- and low-fidelity simulation tools.
Evaluate the effectiveness of educational initiatives through measurable outcomes.
Support change management efforts and quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and standards.
Qualifications
Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) required or currently enrolled with completion within 18 months of hire.
Minimum of 3 years of acute care nursing experience.
Experience in adult education including course development.
Current Washington State RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in a nursing core specialty.
Formal educator experience.
Leadership experience.
Experience with both high- and low-fidelity simulation training.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $145000 $165000 annually plus bonus potential.
