Position Description:
PAR Technology Corporation has an opportunity available for an Electronic Technician to join its Service Repair Department in New Hartford NY. This role is responsible for servicing repairing installing and inspecting point-of-sale (POS) products and peripherals. Youll run diagnostics repair circuit boards at the microscopic level and ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.

What Were Looking For:
Requirements:
Associate degree in an Electronics or Computer-Centric field
At least one (1) year of relevant experience
Strong understanding of electronics principles and design
Experience with diagnostic tools and soldering components
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs
Additional skills:
Detail-oriented and organized
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to follow complex technical instructions
Record-keeping and inventory management skills

Service repair install and inspect POS systems and peripherals
Run diagnostic programs and troubleshoot internal component failures
Perform board-level diagnostics soldering testing and light assembly
Maintain inventory of parts and document repair activities
Identify and address potentially dangerous electrical equipment
Ensure compliance with local state and national codes
