We are seeking to engage skilled professionals with Defence or Defence industry experience to join our permanent workforce and support complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australias future.

Downer Professional Services is comprised of two business units our Technical Advisory and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer a major service partner to Defence. Together we are amulti-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security.

What Youll Bring

Previous experience ideally within the Defence or consulting services industries.

• Proven DevOps expertise including planning integrating and operating systems across computing storage networking and cloud environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve operational issues and bugs in complex systems.
• Experience in secure software development including test-driven development CI/CD pipelines and version control.
• Hands-on integration experience collaborating with development testing and operations teams to deliver validated secure systems.
• Tertiary qualifications in Software Engineering Computer Science IT or equivalent industry experience.

Due to the nature of the work you are required to currently hold and maintain a minimumNegative Vetting 1or higher Security clearance as required by the some instances compliance withInternational Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
