Job Summary

Catholic Charities Maine is seeking a Full-Time Floor Manager to join our team at the Presque Isle Thrift Store. This vital role will assist with processing all incoming items for the thrift store. This position is responsible for greeting people who drop off items and helping customers to load items onto trailers pickups trailer trucks or other vehicles as required. They will be expected to use a pallet jack hand truck and furniture dollies on a regular basis. Will also be responsible for cleanliness of the warehouse and receiving addition this position will assist the Store Manager with on-floor responsibilities such as cashier customer needs pricing display and arranging of products and cleaning.

Qualifications:

Should have previous work experience to indicate an ability to successfully undertake this position.
Must have a valid forklift certification or be willing to obtain certification upon employment. Certification must comply with OSHA standards or relevant local regulations. Previous experience operating a forklift is preferred but not required.
Must be able to push pull and carry objects. Must be able to lift 80lbs unaided using proper techniques.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time. 90% of the day requires standing or walking on gravel wooden and concrete floors. 10% is office work that can be accomplished by either standing or sitting.
