Forming part of the Biotechnology segment at Danaher we bring together dedicated technical expertise and talent to develop the next generation of life-changing therapeutics.
The Team Leader at Cytiva is responsible for directing and overseeing the production cells.
This position is part of the Assembly/Welding department located in Duncan SC and will be onsite.
What you will do:
- Spearhead and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by working with supervisors to identify performance gaps uncover root causes and implement effective countermeasures.
- Welcome and train new associates consistently advocate for quality throughout the production process and drive a culture of positive reinforcement with your peers and teams.
- Serve as a valuable resource for all production-related matters.
Who you are:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED) Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook Excel and Word specifically)
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in manufacturing
- For internal candidates a minimum of Operator 2 position for 6 - 12 months maximum of 3 Attendance points and no written disciplinary documentation (internal candidates)
Travel Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to lift move or carry equipment up to 35 lbs and handle extended bending lifting sitting and standing periods.
- Must be able to work in a cleanroom environment with full gowning to include mask goggles and cleanroom suit with all exposed skin fully covered.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Regulatory compliance with ISO standards and compliance ensuring process integrity in pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
- Cleanroom environment
- SAP or other ERP (specifically in a manufacturing environment)
