Status: Full Time Shift: 12 Hour Nights Labor and Delivery Opportunities Our Labor and Delivery is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity patients. Labor and Delivery Patient Population: Low and high-risk obstetrical patients Patient Ratios: 1:2 Number of Beds: 28 labor beds 8 obstetrical emergency department beds 4 operating rooms 5 pre/post-op cesarean section rooms Department Specifics: We are a Level IV Maternity Care Center that delivers 500 babies per month. We take care of a variety of obstetrical complications. We continually educate and train our staff through simulation to ensure that we are prepared to take care of the sickest maternal patients. We are constantly evaluating our processes to ensure that we are providing evidenced based care to our patient population. We are extremely team oriented and are truly a work family . We have a strong Unit-Based Council that works closely with unit leadership to improve areas of focus on our unit.
