Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Therapist at Wasatch Behavioral Health located in beautiful Heber City Utah!
This onsite position offers an exciting opportunity to work directly with Mental Health and/or Substance Use Disorder clients in a supportive and client-centric environment. With a pay range of $28.50$44.03 per hour your expertise will be rewarded as you contribute to transformative behavioral health care. COMPENSATION:

Therapist I with Associate Licensure-$28.50-$29.50 per hour/$59280 - $75067 annually

Therapist II with Full Licensure-$34.76-$44.03 per hour/$72300 - $91582 annually.

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday (24 Hour shift coverage) Night 11pm - 7am Day 7am - 3pm Swing 3pm - 11pm

Your day to day as a Outpatient Therapist

As a new Outpatient Therapist at Wasatch Behavioral Health you can expect a rewarding and structured daily routine. Your day will typically start at 8:00 AM and conclude at 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. You will engage with clients through individual and group therapy sessions providing evidence-based treatment tailored to their unique addition to direct client interactions you will conduct assessments developing treatment plans tailored to each clients needs and document progress effectively. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team will be key allowing you to share insights and strategies that enhance client outcomes.

Youll also participate in team meetings focusing on continuous improvement and innovative approaches to care. As you settle into your role expect to receive guidance and support from experienced colleagues fostering your professional development while ensuring the highest standards of safety and integrity are maintained.

To excel as an Outpatient SUD Therapist at Wasatch Behavioral Health candidates should possess a strong foundation in mental health practices.

Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) software is essential for documenting client progress and treatment plans efficiently. You should also demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to navigate complex client scenarios effectively. An empathetic nature and a strong commitment to customer-centric care will enhance your ability to support clients in their journey toward mental well-being.

Adaptability attention to detail and a willingness to continue learning will further empower you in this challenging yet fulfilling role. Key skills include exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities allowing you to build rapport with diverse clients.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Graduation from a college or university with a Masters degree in social work psychology or a related field
  • Plus recognition as a Certified Social Worker (CSW)
  • Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor
  • Associate Marriage and Family Therapist or equivalent.
  • May be required to obtain certifications in Domestic Violence and NOJOS.
  • Candidates should also demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in the field of substance use disorder treatment.
  • SPANISH SPEAKING PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.
