Job Description
Eurofins PSS is looking for a Formulation Analytical Scientist to support a clients research and development team working on innovative drug products including lipid-based therapies mRNA and proteins. This role focuses on developing and running analytical tests to support formulation and process development in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
What Youll Do
- Run analytical tests to help with material characterization process optimization and formulation development.
- Use advanced tools like LC-MS LC-MS/MS UPLC SEC-MALS to analyze lipids RNA and proteins.
- Write and update test methods SOPs and study reports.
- Work closely with teams in genetic medicine formulation and analytical development to deliver timely results.
- Troubleshoot issues with assays and clearly present your findings in team meetings.
- Keep accurate records using electronic lab notebooks and sample tracking systems.
- Take on additional lab responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. in life sciences with 46 years of industry experience OR
- M.S. in life sciences with 23 years of industry experience.
- Hands-on experience developing and optimizing analytical assays.
- Experience working with lipid RNA and protein analysis using LC-MS and LC-MS/MS.
- Familiarity with QExactive or Orbitrap instruments.
- Ability to work independently after initial training.
- Strong troubleshooting and data interpretation skills.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in qualifying assays using ICH guidelines.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Experience with iPSC culture and differentiation (a plus).
- Comfortable using digital lab tools like FlowJo GraphPad Prism Benchling SharePoint and Veeva.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship.

The position is Full Time Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Boston MA are encouraged to apply.
