Job Description:
What will you work on
The Staff Designer is responsible for consistently producing innovative on-target on time graphic and branding results . The person in this role has excellent communication skills a proven track record of success and is considered to be a good role model for peers. The ideal candidate must be extremely creative with an understanding of Package and communication design. Must have the ability to bring new and creative products to life from concept through to prototype development. This person in this role is generally responsible for package design through production on 3 or 4 core brands 70% of the time and works on other brands and / or new brand concepts 30% of the time. Designer will need to be innovative with a strong understanding of the consumer demographics.
How will you create impact
- Clearly demonstrate a solid understanding of the brands and the competitive environment as it relates to toy products and construction toy brands.
- Consistently maintains a positive attitude and is considered a good role model.
- Partner with Creative Management and Brand Management to set direction for new brands and individual items.
- Works with production team to ensure integrity of design in final deliverables.
- Maintain a consistently high level of quality thoroughness and attention to detail.
- Effectively communicate all project related progress/issues or concerns to the team and to Project Management in a timely and professional manner.
- Solicit creative direction from the Brand Leads and Director of Packaging in a timely manner.
- Develop marketing support materials creative boards and layout presentations for new and existing business development presentations trade shows and new initiatives.

- Consumer products industry experience; toy design preferred.
The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in California is $105000 to $115000 USD Per Annum. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job years of experience within the required industry education etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
