Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to expand our client base and revenue in the zipper industry. You will identify new business opportunities build relationships with key clients (brands manufacturers distributors) and lead sales strategies to meet targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development
- Identify and target potential clients in the apparel footwear luggage and outdoor gear industries.
- Develop a robust pipeline through cold calling networking and trade shows.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve annual sales targets.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts (e.g. fashion brands OEMs).
- Understand client needs and collaborate with R&D/QC teams to provide tailored zipper solutions.
3. Market Strategy
- Analyze trends in the fast fashion luxury and technical textiles sectors.
- Monitor competitor products/pricing and adjust strategies accordingly.
4. Team Collaboration
- Work closely with production logistics and design teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Mentor junior sales staff (if applicable).
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- 3 years in B2B sales preferably in zippers textiles trims or garment accessories.
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong network in apparel manufacturing brands or distributors.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel (up to 30%).
Nice-to-Have:
- Technical knowledge of zipper types (e.g. coil invisible metal waterproof).
- Experience with sustainable/eco-friendly zipper materials.
