Job Description
Overview /Objective
This position is responsible for deploying monitoring maintaining and repairing broadcast production equipment systems in the Broadcast Engineering environment.
Responsibilities
- Have a full understanding of technical facilities complex broadcast production equipment systems as well as computer and data network assets in the Broadcast Engineering environment
- Ability to rapidly diagnose problems and provide alternative solutions if needed to maintain production deadlines
- Ability to comprehend complex concepts and workflows
- Participate and contribute to the training and ongoing education of Production personnel in the operation of equipment and systems
- The employee must be able to work evening weekend and/or overnight shifts.
- The employee may be required to work a flexible rotating 24/7 shift.
Required Qualifications
Skills -- Broadcast
- Strong technical experience and exposure to broadcast television production equipment including tape drive and memory-based video recorders production switchers routers cameras transmission and encoding equipment
- Strong knowledge of television systems engineering
Skills -- Computer/Storage/Networking/Applications
- Knowledge of basic networking
- Must have proficient computer skills in Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Graphics (Adobe Creative Suite and VizRT)
- Knowledge of log monitoring programs
At least 3 years of experience utilizing the aforementioned skill set in day-to-day support of a broadcast television production facility. Must be able to work successfully in a traditional network-based broadcast environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS
- 3 years of experience in Broadcast Engineering
- Management and leadership knowledge and experience

Terms / Expected Hours of Work
- NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week. The role may require overtime (time worked more than 40 hours) and/or weekends.
