Job Description
Senior Property Accountant North Vancouver
Our client a fast-paced and rapidly growing Property Management company is looking for a Senior Property Accountant to join their dynamic team. Reporting to the DoF you will play a critical role in full-cycle accounting ensuring the accurate and timely completion of financial records and reports including balance sheets income statements and cash flow analyses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes for a portfolio of properties including accounts payable/receivable payroll and CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly quarterly and year-end financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes including preparation of journal entries accruals and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures while identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities in collaboration with the Controller.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support property management operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- CPA designation (completed or near completion) is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of property accounting experience including CAM reconciliations.
- Proficiency in property management software such as Spectra or Yardi.
- Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a keen attention to detail.

Salary Range: $80000 - $90000 per year depending on experience
