This position is Full time 40 hours a week working the day shift M-F 8AM-5PM. There is rotating on-call for emergency life sustaining situations. Call is divided up amongst employees in Bismarck and very easy to switch days with co-workers. Sanford eQuip is very flexible for things like personal appointments time-off etc.
Rotating call may end up on a weekend or holiday

Required to deliver assessment therapeutic intervention and education for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders or associated complications.
Job Description
What You Will Do:
Assess individuals to prevent detect monitor and manage disease and complications.
Provide therapeutic interventions to impact cardiopulmonary and overall health status based on established goals and interdisciplinary care plans.
Educate patients to promote preventative care self-management improved cardiopulmonary health and quality of life.
Perform regular assessments of patients and the respiratory equipment they use.
Analyze patient data and offer treatment suggestions accordingly.
Work with patients in various settings including home hospital and clinic environments depending on individual needs.
Collaborate with a healthcare team including physicians nurses and other professionals to manage patient care particularly in home respiratory therapy.
Assist with front office duties and equipment deliveries as needed.

Qualifications
Associate degree in respiratory care from an accredited respiratory care program or in nursing from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred including but not limited to Commission on CollegiateNursing Education (CCNE) Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and National League for NursingCommission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
Currently holds a Respiratory Therapy (RT) or Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state(s) where the practice is occurringand/or possess multistate licensure when applicable. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Obtains andsubsequently maintains required department specific competencies and a licensed RT must possess Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credentialsas attained through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and maintain active status according to NBRCcredentialing RNs must possess licensure through the applicable state Board of Nursing (BON).Active Drivers License is required.
