The hotel pool lifeguard ensures a safe enjoyable pool experience for all guests by actively monitoring pool activity enforcing safety guidelines and responding swiftly to emergencies. With a focus on guest well-being the lifeguard also provides friendly professional service and maintains a welcoming environment for swimmers of all ages.
Pay range $16-$17 per hour looking for full and part time hours.

Skills Required:
The hotel pool lifeguard must possess strong observational skills to monitor guest activity and ensure safety along with excellent communication abilities to clearly explain pool rules and assist guests in a courteous and professional manner. The role requires the ability to remain calm under pressure respond quickly in emergencies and demonstrate a customer-focused friendly attitude. Physical fitness knowledge of water safety protocols and attention to cleanliness and safety standards are essential. A team-oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively with hotel staff are also important for success in this role.
Experience / Education:
Previous lifeguard/aquatic experience preferred. Must have current CPR/First Aid certificate and be certified as a lifeguard by American Red Cross or another national organization.
Performance Measurement
- 90 Day performance review on-going feedback from supervisor attendance productivity feedback from others Guest Response scores etc.
