Job Description

This is a remote position.

As a QA Specialist you will be responsible for the review and testing of various Digital Assets developed by the development team. This ranges from banner ads to content and e-commerce websites to mobile applications and tech-driven on-ground solutions.

Responsibilities of the role:

Perform various types of testing depending on project scope. Such as:

Front-end / UI Testing

Functional Testing

Performance Testing

API Testing

Load Testing

Speed Testing

Smoke Testing

Write/ Create necessary testing documentation such as (but not limited to):

Test plan

Test scripts

UAT scripts

Be involved in the entire development process (including requirements)

Able to write review revise and verify quality standards and test procedures for program design and product evaluation.

Participate in review of standards procedures tools and process.

Monitor manage and communicate with developers on defects.

Prepare and develop test strategies and test plans.

Knowledge in test automation (Selenium Cucumber) is a plus.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience as a QA testing in a Software/ Web Development environment.

Experience with at least one bug-tracking Software (Jira Mantis Redmine etc.)

Experience in various CMS technologies primarily Drupal October and other PHP based CMS .

Experience in both WATERFALL and AGILE project methodologies.

Experience with eCommerce is a plus

Ability to handle multiple projects teams and clients successfully and effectively.

Proactive and able to self-manage. Has shown ability to work under pressure.
