Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
The Lead Quality Assurance ensures that software products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. They oversee the development and execution of comprehensive test plans ensuring that all software components are thoroughly tested and compliant with business requirements. By leading a team of QA testers they drive continuous improvement in testing processes and collaborate closely with development teams to integrate quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science Information Technology Computer Engineer or any related Engineering field.
- At least 5 years work experience as a Lead Quality Assurance Officer or equivalent
- Work experience in a bank or fintech is an advantage
- Experience working as part of an Agile team (Scrum and/or Kanban)
- Thorough knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle functional testing regression testing integration testing performance testing and automated is required.
- Experience in software testing in various platforms such as Web and Mobile.
- Use of Test Management Tools such asJIRA Redmineor Azure Devops.
- Candidates must have a strong attention to detail strong analytical skills proficiency in written and verbal communication; candidates must be flexible and can adapt as well as can function well under pressure.
- Experience in leading quality assurance officers
