Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for managing complex projects The Strategic Advisor Asset Management plays a key role in establishing a comprehensive project management framework and business processes to support the seamless transfer of assetsincluding physical components and connectivity infrastructureassociated with major construction renovation and refurbishment projects under the Long-Term Vision and Plan (LTVP) for the Parliamentary Precinct.
Bringing a forward-thinking perspective the incumbent identifies and evaluates long-term asset management challenges related to LTVP initiatives and anticipates their impact on future asset management requirements and that the interests of the House are protected. This contribution is essential to ensuring the House of Commons long-term operational requirements for asset management.
This role also leads the planning and implementation of approaches and processes for identifying tracking and transferring assets from currently occupied House facilitieswhere these assets remain under the authority of Public Services and Procurement Canada. The subject position is also responsible for the ongoing supervision of the Asset Analyst and the Corporate Inventory Officer.
