Baptist MD Anderson has opened a brand-new 330000 square foot patient-centered state-of-the-art facility dedicated solely to the full spectrum of oncology care.
Responsibilities
Outpatient Clinic: Evaluates new and existing patients with neurologic malignancies and neurological complications of cancer in collaboration with staff physicians as well as a multidisciplinary team.
As part of the neuro-oncology consultation team actively participates in the multi-disciplinary care of neuro-oncology inpatients at the Baptist Downtown campus.
Collaborates and coordinates care with other members of the multidisciplinary team including radiation medicine neurosurgery and medical oncology.
Performs outpatient procedures to include lumbar punctures and intrathecal chemotherapy administration
Weekend Call/ Night call: responds to first calls from patients at home and hospital calls for Division of Cancer Medicine
Hours: Monday Friday with rotational night/ weekend call coverage
