Job Description
Heather Glen Assisted Living at Ardenwoods Retirement Community is seeking a Life Enrichment Manager to lead an exciting creative and varied activities program meeting the needs of residents with a wide range of backgrounds and functioning abilities. Full time hourly position Mon - Fri an occasional weekend and evening hours.
Experience in long term care or other senior adult activities programs preferred.Must have proof of completion of an approved activities director in long term care course or comparable certification or experience. High School Diploma required higher education a plus. Computer and writing skills are needed. Duties include planning creating and implementing a monthly calendar participating in care plans documentation supervising part-time program assistants and volunteers maintaining a budget assisting residents on outings and occasional driving of 15-passenger wheelchair accessible bus. Regular NC Drivers license required.
