Job Description
Cherokee Casino Tahlequah is looking for a HVAC Licensed Journeyman to join our team! You play a vital role in maintaining inspecting and repairing our heating air conditioning and refrigeration systems. You will also be responsible for installing and altering related equipment. This position requires a strong knowledge of HVAC systems mechanical tools and building codes
Responsibilities
- Check and service all HVAC units including cleaning coils checking refrigerant and changing filters.
- Install maintain and repair ventilation air conditioning systems equipment and ductwork.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues such as electrical problems unit controls and refrigerant systems.
- Respond to HVAC service calls and emergency equipment call-outs.
- Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to other employees.
- Install repair and maintain remote operating or monitoring equipment related to HVAC systems.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 5 years of HVAC experience and a Mechanical Journeyman License or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge in the use and care of tools including corded and cordless power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Knowledge of electrical Lock Out/Tag Out and Personal Protective Equipment usage.
- Knowledge and comprehensive understanding of HVAC systems.
- Must have and maintain a valid drivers license.
- Ability to work in various settings including outdoors in all types of weather.
- Ability to lift and adjust heavy objects
