Position Overview
The School of Business & Enterprise (SBE) seeks a dynamic Graduate Assistant to execute our digital and social media strategy. This position offers hands-on experience in strategic content creation social media management and digital marketing analytics while supporting the promotion of SBE events achievements and milestones. This position reports to the SBE program manager.
Primary Responsibilities
Content Creation & Channel Maintenance
Develop engaging original content for multiple digital platforms including website social media channels and promotional materials
Create visual content using graphic design tools
Update content calendars and ensure consistent posting schedules across all platforms
Work with program manager to curate relevant industry news student achievements and faculty accomplishments
Social Media Campaign Management
Plan execute and monitor social media campaigns to promote SBE events programs and initiatives
Manage daily operations of social media accounts including Facebook Instagram LinkedIn and emerging platforms
Engage with followers respond to comments and messages in a timely professional manner
Create and implement hashtag strategies to increase visibility and engagement
Analytics & Performance Optimization
Track and analyze performance metrics across all digital channels using tools such as Google Analytics social media insights and other relevant platforms
Generate monthly reports on content performance audience growth and engagement rates
Identify trends and opportunities for improvement based on data analysis
A/B test content formats posting times and campaign strategies to optimize results
Present findings and recommendations to supervisors and stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Currently enrolled in MBA program
Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems
Basic knowledge of graphic design principles and familiarity with design software (Adobe Creative Suite Canva etc.)
Understanding of digital marketing concepts and social media best practices
Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and metrics
Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills
Collaborative approach with ability to work effectively in team environments
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in social media management or digital marketing
Knowledge of SEO principles and content optimization
Understanding of higher education marketing and student engagement strategies
Experience with social media management tools (Hootsuite Buffer Sprout Social etc.)
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge preferred
Familiarity with analytics platforms (Google Analytics Facebook Insights LinkedIn Analytics)

10 hours per week - schedule flexible around candidates academic schedule
