At Belvedere Trading our Quantitative Traders are some of the industrys most quantitative problem solvers and masters of critical thinking and they leverage our proprietary technology to make trading decisions in record time. This role fosters collaboration across our proprietary technology and trading teams. As a result they are at the forefront of trading and technology immersion as they learnbest practices intrading and software development. Our Quantitative Traders implement sophisticated trading strategies and focus on projects related to trading logic development electronic trading strategies and quantitative data you love technology and cant keep your eyes off the financial markets you may have just found your dream job.

What our Quantitative Traders Do
- Rotations Periodic rotations between product groups provides broad understanding and knowledge of the market and Belvederes trading strategies
- Trade analysis Gain an understanding of our trading systems and tools learn how to evaluate the effectiveness of our trading and provide feedback to continuously improve
- Improve trading systems Collaborate with technology team members to provide iterative improvements to our proprietary trading software
- Research Participate in quantitative research and the application of quantitative strategieswhilelearning concepts behind our core market making operations
- Daily trading activities Execute trades over multiple assets and exchanges leveraging Belvederes proprietary platform for optimal performance
- Desk strategy Engage in daily collaborative strategy adjustments with your team to adapt to market dynamics
- Development projects Lead and participate in specific quantitative development projects that enhance trader-centric technologies
- Data Analysis Analyze extensive datasets to extract insights that bolster our trading strategies
- Training Benefit from our industry-leading BTU program complemented by ongoing practical training within our trading operations covering a spectrum from foundational knowledge to advanced proprietary concepts.
- Collaborate with leadership This position gives direct access toPositionManagersand software development Team Leads tocomplete their broad training
Key Qualities in Great Candidates
- Communication We need people who can speak confidently and concisely especially when the stakes are high
- Team player Trading and development is not an isolated activity at Belvedere so great candidates will have demonstrated success in team-based environments
- Intellectually curious A desire to learn from your peers and seek a deep understanding of complex problems will go a long way
- Analytical Were looking for quantitative thinkers and master problem-solvers with strong data analysis skills
- Core development skills You will need some training or a demonstratedabilityto learn programming languages such as C C# and Python
- Knowledge of the financial markets and trading industry isnt required but it is a plus!
- Ability to live in or relocate to Chicago or Boulder.
- Graduation date of December 2025or Spring 2026 (start date in spring or fall 2026)
$140000 - $140000 a year
