Job Description:
Exploring a resource to help work on our ServiceNow KB Document repository. This role would be responsible for maintaining existing retiring old and creating new KB articles currently used by our Helpdesk and L2/L3 teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Knowledge Base Management: Manage and maintain knowledge base (KB) content within the ServiceNow platform including article creation categorization lifecycle management and alignment with content structure standards and operational workflows.
- Content Lifecycle Oversight: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of documentation including article submission ownership group assignment retirement and replacement tracking.
- Operational Readiness Support: Contribute to onboarding and readiness initiatives by preparing documentation for new services and systems.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g. DW Support Ops L3 teams) to gather requirements clarify documentation needs and ensure timely updates.
- Process Documentation: Develop and maintain structured documentation for internal processes including categorization strategies ownership group structures and article workflows.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with peers to ensure consistency in article structure metadata tagging and categorization.
- Serve as a liaison for KB article workflows providing guidance on ServiceNow form usage and documentation standards.
- Participate in regular syncs with support teams to align documentation priorities with operational goals.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrate consistency and attention to detail in documentation improving discoverability and usability of knowledge assets.
- Proactively support readiness efforts by ensuring documentation is in place ahead of key onboarding and service rollout milestones.
- Possess strong communication skills specifically in technical writing and clarity enabling seamless transitions and audit readiness for all documentation being created or reviewed.
