Were looking for a skilled and proactive Foreman to lead from the front on a range of high-profile construction project. If youre passionate about quality safety and efficiencyand thrive in a hands-on leadership rolethis could be the perfect opportunity for you.
What Youll Be Doing
As a Foreman youll play a key role in the successful delivery of site operations. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading daily toolbox talks and safety briefings to promote a culture of safety and accountability

  • Monitoring and driving high performance and safe working practices among operatives

  • Ensuring plant equipment and materials are on site aligned with the programme of works

  • Implementing safe methods of work especially around buried services

  • Interpreting site programmes and drawings and translating them into clear actionable plans

  • Mentoring teams helping to maintain quality health & safety and production standards

  • Overseeing and coordinating sub-contractors on-site

  • Providing clear communication with clients and site management

  • Applying your expert knowledge in groundworks (drainage road construction earthworks sub-structure concrete housing slabs etc.)

  • Identifying and responding to commercial and operational site needs

What Were Looking For:
  • Proven experience in groundworks supervision or site foreman roles

  • Strong understanding of construction methods sequencing and safety protocols

  • Confident in reading and interpreting drawings and programmes

  • Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

  • Hands-on leader who can engage with and motivate operatives

  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of site cost impacts

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Committed to delivering projects safely on time and to a high standard

Essential Requirements:
  • Right to work in the UK

  • Full UK driving licence (preferred)

  • Reliable punctual and professional

  • Willingness to work collaboratively with other trades and support delivery goals
