Leading daily toolbox talks and safety briefings to promote a culture of safety and accountability
Monitoring and driving high performance and safe working practices among operatives
Ensuring plant equipment and materials are on site aligned with the programme of works
Implementing safe methods of work especially around buried services
Interpreting site programmes and drawings and translating them into clear actionable plans
Mentoring teams helping to maintain quality health & safety and production standards
Overseeing and coordinating sub-contractors on-site
Providing clear communication with clients and site management
Applying your expert knowledge in groundworks (drainage road construction earthworks sub-structure concrete housing slabs etc.)
Identifying and responding to commercial and operational site needs
Proven experience in groundworks supervision or site foreman roles
Strong understanding of construction methods sequencing and safety protocols
Confident in reading and interpreting drawings and programmes
Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Hands-on leader who can engage with and motivate operatives
Good commercial awareness and understanding of site cost impacts
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Committed to delivering projects safely on time and to a high standard
Right to work in the UK
Full UK driving licence (preferred)
Reliable punctual and professional
Willingness to work collaboratively with other trades and support delivery goals
