About KS Large Bore Pistons:
The KS Large Bore Pistons Group is one of the worlds leading designers and manufacturers of large-bore pistons. We offer perfect solutions for pistons with diameters ranging from 130 to 640mm. Our pistons are made of aluminum spheroidal graphite iron or steel as well as combinations of these materials for all customer applications.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a Quality Operator! In this role you will be responsible for performing quality checks/audits to ensure parts conform to customer specifications and Company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect parts visually and dimensionally to ensure adherence to customer specifications and Company quality standards.
- Notify proper personnel when inspection data exceeds acceptable limits or when major incidents of poor quality are noted.
- Master adjust and properly maintain both manual and electronic gauges.
- Perform ingoing and outgoing audits as assigned.
- Complete and maintain all required paperwork records documentation etc.
- Perform basic daily preventive maintenance machine care. and cleaning activities according to CIL Standards.
- Communicate with previous and following shift to exchange information and learn of problems.
- Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping activities.
- Maintain a valid forklift license and support with material handling duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Requires a high school diploma equivalent or relevant experience
- Effective communication skills
- Basic math experience
- Ability to utilize English and Metric units of measure
- Strong attention to detail and ability to carry out detailed instructions
- Blueprint reading skills
- Ability to use hand tools and hand gauges
- Ability to obtain a forklift license by KSLP standards
- Background in Manufacturing is ideal

D Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM Friday - Sunday
36 hours per week plus overtime as needed (overtime is paid after 36 hours/week)
