Basic Job Functions:
The Material Handling Process Engineer will be an integral part of the Material Handling team responsible forworking with our teammates to create Operational and Commercial Excellence in the production planningarea. This position will be actively involved in the process and the supporting statistical analysis to implement and facilitate best practices that drive continuous improvement in safety quality cost and productivity for ourteam and customers. This position will serve as a technical resource to the team in the Material Handling areas as well as be responsible for developing and leading process specific training to expand the knowledge of our team. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Organization
- Experience in relevant steelmaking processes
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management
