About the Role
Nova Nurture is hiring on behalf of our client KJBN Labs an innovative agritech startup based in Bangalore. We are looking for a QA Tester (Manual) with hands-on experience in mobile web and API testing. You will work closely with product and development teams to ensure the quality and usability of our applications.
Responsibilities:
- Execute test cases for mobile apps web interfaces and backend APIs.
- Report and track bugs clearly using tools like Jira or similar.
- Collaborate with developers product managers and designers to understand features and requirements.
- Perform regression smoke sanity and exploratory testing as needed.
- Validate bug fixes and new features in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain test documentation including test plans test cases and test reports.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings.
Required Skills:
- 24 years of experience in manual testing across mobile web and API platforms.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Postman for API testing.
- Familiarity with browser developer tools for web testing.
- Good understanding of SDLC STLC and bug lifecycle.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to agile methodologies and working in sprint-based development.
- Familiarity with test case management tools (e.g. TestRail Zephyr).
- Understanding of mobile platforms (iOS/Android) and device testing.
