Job Description

Total Stipend: $3000 ($1500 per semester) Grant Funded - FC 186Position/Compensation Information:RPS is looking for a 2025/26 Multilingual (ML) Parent Academy Coordinator to plan implement and coordinate the adult ESL classes and Newcomer Parent Dates: TBD Tuesday / Thursday6:30 - 8:30pmAdditional hours as needed for planning scheduling newcomer parent classes online speakers series and :Planning the class offerings including marketing the classes and identifying the needs to run successful coursesPrepares the schedule and identifies the locations for the classesPrepares and oversees the dissemination of information concerning the programsHiring and supervising staff in conjunction with the Assistant Director of MLProblem solving as issues ariseCommunicate with students and staffCommunicate with and support the teachers as needed to ensure the program runs smoothlyEnsure the teachers have the necessary RPS credentials including keys and technology accessManage the weekly payroll forms for teachersOrganize registration of students Plan the initial screening and placement of students into classesMaintain centralized attendance recordsIn-person and on site supervision during evening class hoursEnsure necessary supplies are available for the program including technology textbooks and office suppliesSupervision:Kait Zanzerkia Assistant Director of Multilingual Learners
