We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Over-the-Counter Parts Sales Representative to join our team. This position involves assisting walk-in customers responding to email inquiries text messages and other forms of communication from customers seeking appliance parts. You will help customers by looking up parts diagrams checking our in-stock inventory and placing special orders when needed.
No prior appliance experience is required we will provide full training!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist walk-in customers with appliance parts inquiries and purchases
- Respond to customer inquiries via email text and phone in a timely and professional manner
- Look up parts diagrams to identify correct components for customers needs
- Check stock availability and place special orders as needed
- Maintain a clean organized and welcoming sales counter area
- Provide friendly helpful service to ensure a great customer experience
- Collaborate with other team members to fulfill orders and keep accurate records
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn parts lookup systems
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple customer inquiries at once
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Since 1995 Reliable Appliance has grown to more than 40 employees and has a store in Anchorage and Wasilla. It has evolved into the largest appliance recycle location in Alaska.
