Description
Position Purpose:
As the Promotions Videographer you will be responsible for creating engaging promotional content and interstitials that support and strengthen our networks brand and mission. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals passionate about storytelling media production and making a positive impact through broadcast. Youll receive hands-on training collaborate with a creative team and gain real-world experience in all aspects of video production. We offer a supportive faith-based work environment with opportunities for professional development and long-term growth in the broadcasting industry.
Essential Duties:
- Assist in the production of promotional content and interstitials under the guidance of senior staff.
- Operate camera and basic audio equipment for shooting promotional clips and interstitial segments.
- Support the editing process by organizing footage making preliminary cuts and preparing media for final editing.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop visual concepts and storyboards.
- Ensure all content adheres to the networks brand guidelines and technical standards.
- Assist with logistical tasks including scheduling equipment maintenance metadata entry and set preparation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with Davinci Resolve or similar video editing software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Basic knowledge of video production processes and equipment.
- A keen eye for visual storytelling and a desire to learn and grow within the industry.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to effectively operate a Windows-based computer and navigate Microsoft Office Suite and .
Requirements:
- Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Must sign the Statement of Faith.
- Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred.
- Associates degree or equivalent in Film Media Production or a related field.
- A portfolio that includes school projects or internships related to video production.
- Must pass all required checks.
Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in cinematography or videography with demonstrated skills in a variety of production environments.
- Portfolio showcasing storytelling abilities and technical expertise in video production.
- A proven track record of collaborating in creative teams.
- Compensation is commensurate with experience.
