Business Development Executive Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Location: Remote must be based in the UK
Industry: Cybersecurity Identity & Access Management

The Opportunity


We are seeking a driven and proactiveBusiness Development Executive to join our growing team remotely from anywhere in the this role you will be instrumental in driving new business by identifying engaging and qualifying potential clients. Experience or interest in Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions such as Okta is a strong advantage.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to further grow their sales career in the cybersecurity sector with the support of a collaborative and high-performing team.



Key Responsibilities


  • Proactively generate leads through email outreach LinkedIn networking and phone calls.
  • Identify and research prospects across targeted industries and market segments.
  • Initiate meaningful conversations to understand client needs and challenges.
  • Qualify leads according to predefined criteria and hand off to the sales team.
  • Work closely with Account Executives to support strategic sales efforts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed about industry trends competitors and relevant technologies.


Skills and Experience


Essential

  • Must have previous experience in a B2B sales or business development role within the technology sector
  • Good understanding of sales processes and pipelines and the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Experience in lead generation qualification and conversion.
  • Excellent communication presentation and relationship-building skills with a keen commercial mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain high productivity levels.
  • A collaborative approach with a focus on team success.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills active listener with the ability to build relationships quickly.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
  • Self-starter with a proactive goal-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent in English.


Preferred


  • Familiarity with tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot) prospecting tools (Lusha Apollo etc) and email engagement tools.
  • Knowledge of IAM technologies or experience engaging with clients in the cybersecurity or SaaS space is a plus especially Okta or similar platforms.
