Systems Maintainer Mechanical Signalling
Fairfield Depot Travel Across SEQ $70K$120K Super
Were looking for a Systems Maintainer to support our Signalling team based at Fairfield working across the SEQ network.

- Annual earning potential up to will likely be between $70000 with potential earning up to $120000 - including penalties super (based on qualifications)
- Cert III in Mechanical Rail Signalling (gain it with us if you dont have it)

About the role
In the role of a Systems Maintainer your responsibilities will include installing maintaining and repairing mechanical signalling equipment within the Southeast Queensland (SEQ) rail network. You will be part of a team comprising both electrical and mechanical signal maintenance experts collaborating closely. Your work will involve a diverse range of rail-specific infrastructure including Points Machines Level Crossings and Pedestrian Crossing Mechanisms.
In this role you will
- Assist with the installation maintenance and repair of mechanical signalling equipment
- Participate in a On Call roster and be required to travel throughout SEQ network
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with WH&S requirements
- Undertake accurate and timely administrative and recording duties
- Review and improve current work procedures and practices
- Must have the flexibility to work some overtime and weekends when required.
About you
- A current drivers licence
- Mechanical aptitude and a proactive mindset
- Cert III in Mechanical Rail Signalling (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Commitment to working safe and getting home safe
